JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Work with development/data scientists to fix code, so it can be deployed to production
• Coordinate with onshore production support and Optim technology teams as required
  
• Understand business needs and support tools in a Bigdata analytics environment
  
• Liaise with key development teams/portfolio managers to resolve issues encountered
  
• Manage production downtime and send regular updates globally, as needed
  
• Review critical business applications and IT infrastructure below
• Flexible to work weekends for production/input support as needed
  
• Follow the terms and conditions of the employment contract, policies and procedures of the company, and all instructions (such as, but not limited to, transfer and / or reassignment to different workplaces, changes and / or changes, benefits changing and/or project environment policies, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to changes in the business environment). 
• The Company may adopt, modify or cancel these policies and guidelines at its own discretion and without any limitations (expressed or otherwise) on its ability to do so.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

• Experience with GitHub/SVN version control systems
• Experience with Linux servers
• Experience with shell scripting, Java and HiveQL/SparkQL
  
• Information on GitHub. Should keep code on GitHub and manage code with different functions/versions of the solution
  
• The basic knowledge of the collection is complete
  
• Know Core Java and know about small projects
  
• Know the overall development of vocabulary (the basis for L1/L2 support)
• Good at Linux and good to have knowledge of Windows servers
• Good understanding of production support models
• Understand Bigdata architecture and ecosystem tools like hive, spark, Sqoop
• Good understanding of scripting languages ​​like Python and Shell Scripting
• Ability to solve production problems
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ashore
