JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Review the NFR for performance testing and determine limitations.
- Prepare Plan of testing effort for related applications
- Prepare action plans/plans for affected applications.
- Create a test script for Perf. Experiment with tools, e.g. Load Runner, Jmeter etc.
- Run test scripts and monitor server performance and capture various performance metrics
- Analyze performance metrics and identify issues.
- File a bug for identified issues and coordinate with the development team for resolution.
- Check the error and correct it. Participate in daily calls and shift calls
- Update all stakeholders (on site/offshore) on current performance. condition test.
- Prepare a summary report of operational performance.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Experience in performance testing using LoadRunner or any PT/open source software such as NeoLoad, SilkPerformer, RPT, JMeter, VSTS
- End-to-end performance testing experience that includes collecting NFRs, creating scopes of work by integrating various teams.
- Experience writing performance test plans
- Experience in developing performance test scripts and running tests
- Good communication with the player
- Distribution monitoring (DB and cross-level) and analysis of results
- Expertise in APM tools such as Dynatrace/App dynamisc
- Experience managing large teams and delivering strategy
- Experience in managing multiple accounts with various internal/external stakeholders
