MOODY'S OFF-CAMPUS DRIVE FOR THE POSITION OF ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION :

He is responsible for designing, coding, improving and testing financial software applications to meet business process requirements in MIS Tech, primarily using Java/J2EE related technology stacks.
Demonstrate good problem solving and analytical skills in designing/developing solutions to business needs
Contribute to the development of continuous web applications based on service-oriented enterprises, including user interfaces, services and databases.
Collaborate
Collaborate with lead development team/artists on technical direction/architecture of projects and collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA analysts (internal and vendor).
Review functional requirements for new requests for critical design/development work
Work closely with development teams spread across the globe to support development efforts to meet business requirements.
Complete documentation and procedures for installing and maintaining software
Participate in design, architecture and code reviews and participate in a collaborative development environment
Work in an Agile environment and track progress on key deliverables
Provide application development support by assisting the team in production decisions, root cause analysis, code defect correction, data analysis, troubleshooting, etc.

COMPANY REQUIREMENT :

Good understanding of object-oriented design and development
Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and understanding of web services (REST and SOAP)
Experience with Java based frameworks: JPA, Springboot, Spring, Hibernate, etc.
Experience with small projects and design principles
Agile Scrum experience, as well as demonstrated proficiency/experience with other SDLC methodologies
Good knowledge of SQL and databases
Experience with JBOSS Studio, Eclipse and/or similar IDE tools
Knowledge of development/backup management tools such as Maven and SCM tools such as Subversion, Bit Bucket, GitHub, etc.
Experience in application maintenance, familiar with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Platform9, ECS, EKS, Openshift, Cloud Foundry
Exposure to all cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and exposure to services (or equivalent) such as API Gateway, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, Kafka etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

Bachelor of Engineering/Computer Science
0-3 years of comprehensive software development experience
0-3 years of hands-on experience in design, development, testing and support services of Java, J2EE, JMS, Soap / REST, SQL, JSON and XML applications.
